Requirement:

Supports Customer Service team in delivering higher performance on
productivity, accuracy and timeliness of documents, as per agreed SLA.
Works within pre-determined set of rules and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end shipments by validating the destination, route, and delivery time.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls.
- Engage in upselling/cross-selling; onboard customers.
- Execute operations according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and contractual agreements.
- Ensure precise tracking and logging of information in internal and/or customer-specific systems.
- Manage Stakeholder relationships – both customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate and expedite requests, time-specific pickups, deliveries, and other special requests.
- Monitor daily shipment status to ensure service levels are met, escalating issues when necessary.
- Distribute operational activities optimally and utilize resources efficiently to ensure high productivity.
- Maintain customer relationships and assist in business growth by providing effective solutions.
- Ensure proactive inter-departmental coordination to meet service delivery expectations.
- Adhere strictly to the account IOP by all parties.
- Guarantee timely opening and closing of job files.
- Manage remote teams effectively to meet service deliverables.
- Focus on process improvement from both a customer perspective and internally within Maersk.
- Fulfil Maersk KPIs against targets.
- Manage exceptions by pre-empting and highlighting potential issues and ensuring appropriate/timely communication to all stakeholders.

Who We Are Looking For:

- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Freight forwarding/Shipping/OCE operations is preferred.
- 2-3 years of calling experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferable knowledge of shipping operations and related documentation processes.
- Commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint.
- Preferable hands-on experience with customer SAP, WMS systems.
- Experience working with remote teams is an added advantage.
