
Job Description
The Position:
Manage and develop the business relationship and performance for large & medium sized customers including growing share of wallet for ocean and LnS (Logistics and Services) related services.
Identifying, developing and delivering on new business opportunities within area of responsibility (Air Freight, Inland Transportation & Warehousing), ensuring market awareness and presence is established, and making first contact with potential clients and partners where appropriate.
Job content & execution
Client Strategy and planning
- Manage and develop the relationship with the contractual customer in line with Maersk/global strategy
- Develop the value proposition to match the customers needs both locally and by engaging the network
- Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth supporting the local product P&L
- Develop business plan for increasing overall supply chain Share of Wallet and position Logistic & Services products
- Grow presence across products through new opportunities and with the customers extended supply chain
Responsible for Customer Satisfaction
- Support the overall customer experience and increasing customer satisfaction
Deliver client profitability as per budget
- Ensure successful business onboarding and contract compliance
Customer Relationship
- Positin Maersk towards the local influencers of the global tender success and towards local decision makers on country relevant products
Key Responsibilities
- Strategies to achive set sales targets
- Tender management – Maintain and expand SoW
- Timely and accurate updating of CRM in line with company strategy
- Identify opportunities in Ocean and LnS
- Strategies to achive set sales targets
- Action and develop sales leads
- Responsible for pipeline growth and management in line with targets both individually and contributing to the wider team
- Focused selling in line with key products and target areas
- Participate in evaluating and developing projects and new business opportunites
- Coordinate project & pipeline planning in coorporation with requisite responsible functions
- Prmovdes local industry information and analysis to customers & senior management
- Maintains market awareness riegarding market developments, supply, demand, pricint, competiton etc.
- Own and drive the development of solutions to customer business opportunities and tender requirements
- Support development of business opportunities with sales peers (Product, CX, CSP, Finance, HR, Overseas colleagues and so on)

- Previous experience working within a fast and dynamic Sales, Marketing, or Product role

- Capability to develop new business with new customers
- Ability to canvas market and develop win strategy to deliver results
- Strategic & consultative partnering with customers
- Problem-solving skills
- Compliance with the Code of Conduct
- Graduate Qualifications Bachelor/Masters in Logistics/Supply chain or other relevant fields is advantageous, however not essential
- 5+ years of logistics experience & expertise
