Job Description

PURPOSE

Manage and develop the local business relationship (controller in Vietnam) including performance for all customers interested in standardized products on short (sales cycles). The customer profile(s) and portfolio(s) are Forwarding accounts, the Product focused is Ocean freight, LCL, Landside Transportation, and especially the importation in the North of Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

- Client Strategy and planning:

  • Manage and develop the relationships within the customer portfolio.
  • Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth
  • For customers with specific area importance, develop account business plans that encompass ocean as well as Logistic & Services products

- Manage:

  • Maintain an overview of the customers business within the geography
  • Identify and win opportunities relevant to O&L products direction setting
  • Sell standalone products depending on customer need

- Define and deliver changes to business targets based on market/asset view: Work with the Capacity / Campaign Manager function to formalize the commercial plans and ensure maximization of assets.

- Customer satisfaction: Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local initiatives to improve customer satisfaction for all local Accounts

- Manage stakeholders across the area, region, and global functions: Actively provide feedback to the sales channel lead based on customer feedback and insights

Critical competencies

  • At least 03 years’ professional working experience at commercial role(s) in logistics industry
  • Sales experience / Business Development / Hunting new customers is a big plus
  • Strong learning agility and passion for sales
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Language proficiency: native Vietnamese level, fluent English level
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Good business acumen and industry expertise
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding listening and negotiation skills
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
