Role Purpose
As a Sales Finance Business Partner, you'll be the key financial advisor to the Sales team, enabling data-driven decisions through market insights, performance monitoring, and forecasting. This role combines analytical acumen with strong stakeholder collaboration to help drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to support commercial decision-making
- Provide financial insights, trends, and analysis on market performance
- Track and report Sales team KPIs and performance vs. targets
- Lead the preparation of commercial forecasts and performance projections
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and commercial performance
- Support business cases for new opportunities or customer deals
- Collaborate across Finance, Sales, and other functions to ensure alignment
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Commercial Finance, or FP&A
- Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is highly desirable
- Comfortable working with large datasets and translating data into insights
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- High attention to detail, with ability to balance accuracy and speed
- Fluent in English (C1 level minimum)
Preferred Qualities
- Experience working in a commercial or sales-driven environment
- Ability to simplify complex topics for non-finance audiences
- Proactive, business-oriented mindset with curiosity for market trends
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
