Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the QA activities for AMANA Product development. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of QA tasks for assigned projects, as well as guiding and mentoring junior Quality Assurance Engineers.

What you'll do

  • Build knowledge on AMANA content, processes, and tools to effectively perform QA activities
  • Develop and implement test infrastructure to support efficient testing processes
  • Independently handle QA tasks for assigned projects, organizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Develop and execute tests for both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Properly document test cases and execution results for future reference
  • Review the testability of requirements and collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to address any unclear areas
  • Mentor and supervise junior QAs and working students

What you bring to the table

  • Few years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile testing techniques
  • Knowledge of Test Types, Test Levels, and Test Techniques
  • Proficient in performing documentation practices
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Experience using AMANA Test Management and Issue Management tools is a plus
  • Fluency in English and German
