Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining secure and compliant solutions using C#, ASP.Net, ASP.Net Core and Umbraco 10+ based websites.
- Work closely with the other members of the business to ensure websites match the client’s vision.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during the development process, and after deployment.
- Estimate full size projects as well as smaller pieces of work and delivering to these estimates.
- Ensuring timesheets are logged daily.
- Delivering high quality, secure and compliant web applications.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and development techniques.
- Demonstrating, promoting and developing the culture and values of the business including across the development team and assisting across the wider business and clients.
Essential skills
- ASP.Net, ASP.Net 6+ (Core), Entity Framework
- C#.Net, MVC, Razor, SQL
- Umbraco 10+
- React.js and/or Vue.js
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SASS/SCSS
Desirable skills
- Tailwind, Bootstrap
- Front End Toolchain NPM, Webpack
- Azure DevOps
- WebAPIs
- uSync
- Excellent knowledge of accessibility

- Be able to attend the monthly meeting on site in Edinburgh
- Ability to deliver on time and to spec
- Possess a great attention to detail
- Understanding of the possibilities and constraints of design and development
- Willingness to share and work collaboratively with the team as well as the wider business
- Be able to laugh and bring a sense of fun and inspiration to the Development Team and wider business
What we can offer you
- Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 (based on experience).
- Open to discussion on hours.
- Option to work from home or in one of our Edinburgh or Falkirk offices.
