The Role
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to join our team, overseeing and managing the SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases for two straightforward SaaS products. These products have minimal integration with the customers tech stack but require careful testing governance to ensure seamless functionality and delivery. This role will also involve organising manual testing processes, managing offshore testers, and working closely with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead SIT and UAT: Oversee the full SIT and UAT testing phases, ensuring that all testing activities are aligned with the project’s business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive testing strategy: Ensure thorough coverage for integration, performance, and penetration testing, and align testing processes with business needs.
- Manage testing activities: Plan, execute, and govern the end-to-end testing process, ensuring timely issue resolution and smooth integration of third-party SaaS products into BA's systems via APIs.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of offshore testers, ensuring collaboration with internal teams, developers, and stakeholders.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on the testing schedule and progress to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, update on progress, and drive continuous alignment.
- Test Strategy and Governance: Create test strategies and apply governance to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Experience in SIT and UAT testing management, with a strong ability to lead and coordinate these phases
- Experience with SaaS products and environments with limited integration complexity
- Strong experience in manual testing, integration testing, performance testing, and penetration testing
- Familiarity with API testing and application & web testing
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through the testing lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise reports on testing progress
- Ability to apply governance and maintain high-quality standards across testing activities
- Experience with similar SaaS projects and legacy system integrations would be a bonus
- Prior experience working on projects in the airline or travel sectors is a plus
