The Role

The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for guiding a team of business analysts in the identification, analysis, and documentation of customers business needs and requirements. This role serves as the senior member of the customers team, providing expert analysis, mentoring junior analysts, and ensuring the successful delivery of customers business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for business analysis team, leading the effort to gather and document business requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior business analysts, ensuring the development of skills and competencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating business objectives into detailed requirements.
• Lead the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and solution proposals.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of analysis and documentation produced by the team.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensuring that business analysis deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience in business analysis, with a demonstrated ability to lead or mentor others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in documenting requirements
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification would be a bonus
• Experience in a airlines industry would be a bonus.
