Who are we?
Ki is the biggest global insurance tech company you’ve never heard of, unless you’ve been looking to insure a satellite, wind farm or music festival recently.
Having written over $877m in gross written premium in 2023, we’ve achieved significant growth since our beginnings in 2021. Our investors were excited about the fact we were revolutionising the way a 333 year-old industry was working. There are hardly any industries left that are mainly paper based, but the Fin Pro, Casualty & Cyber insurance market is one. Together with partners at Google and UCL we developed Ki and created a platform that helps insurance brokers place risk in a fast and frictionless way. We’re continuing to lead the charge on the digitisation of this market and we need more excellent minds to work with us to realise this goal and create more opportunities.
What you will be working on
How insurance is underwritten here hasn't changed in 300 years – until now. At Ki, we are genuinely solving problems that haven’t been solved with technology in the insurance space. We are building the first fully digital and data-led insurance platform in the London Market. Ki is used by the world’s leading insurance brokers to provide cover for their clients against some of the planet’s biggest risks. We are the first movers in this space. Think challenger bank, but for complex risks like hurricanes and natural disasters.
Having reached c.$1bn of Gross Written Premium in the first three years of trading, and becoming a Top 20 Lloyd’s of London syndicate, Ki is launching a Technology Services function and Transformation Programme to enhance our technological capabilities and streamline processes. The programme will transform Ki’s internal-facing technology services across all business functions, including Actuarial & Risk, Underwriting & Distribution, Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, Claims and IT.
We seek a forward-thinking and proven leader with deep infrastructure management expertise as Senior Infrastructure Manager for Ki to lead and manage the Technology Services Infrastructure for the business and also support the Technology Transformation Programme, setting up the Technology Operations function from a blank sheet of paper.
As the Senior Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee and manage various areas, including service partner management, networking, modern desktop management, and service desk operations.
The Senior Infrastructure Manager will be a Technology Senior Leadership team member.
