There are hardly any industries left that are mainly paper based, but the specialty insurance market is one. Together with partners at Google and UCL we developed Ki and created a platform that helps insurance brokers place risk in a fast and frictionless way. What you will be working on
We are recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join us at Ki. This is a pivotal role in our dynamic and rapidly expanding team, where you will be an active member of the Core Technology Group (CTG) and work closely with our Google and Microsoft specialists to ensure our cloud estate remains fit for purpose and takes advantage of future-thinking design principles. This role is crucial in supporting our ambitious transformation to a hybrid cloud estate, enhancing our infrastructure, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our cloud environments.

In this role you will bring your experience of working within cloud architecture and approving architectural designs, whilst managing cloud environments across organisation management, landing zones, system configurations and environment provisioning for various applications and services.

This role will be responsible for mentoring and training team members on Google Cloud tools and best practices, fostering an inclusive learning environment and working closely with the project teams to support the deployment and integration of SaaS solutions hosted on GCP or Azure. In addition you will liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support for Google Cloud services and will provide 3rd line support for Google Cloud issues.
