Hey! We're Huel, and we're pleased to meet you 👋

Our culture thrives on high performance, and we set the bar high for new Hueligans who join us.

We invite you to read the advert below for our new Quality Assurance Manager position to understand the role, and explore our 7 Huel values before applying to ensure we have the right working environment for you!

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Manager to join us who can help maintain the safety and quality standards of our Powders, Bars and Ready-to-drink products across the USA. This role will see you work closely with our US manufacturing and ingredients supply base ensuring that all sites operate above the local safety and quality standards and adopt a culture of continuous improvement. Here's an insight into your day to day:

  • You’ll be a key technical contact for the safety, legality and quality of our products. You’ll work closely with our suppliers, periodically auditing them and setting clear action plans to ensure they meet our high standards, deliver KPIs and address issues.
  • Carry out supplier and product risk assessments, determine, prioritise and implement actions against hazards caused by allergens, micro/hygiene and otherwise
  • Develop, implement and embed internal safety and quality processes and procedures where required, working above local requirements and supporting continuous improvement
  • Using excellent supplier management skills you’ll ensure that suppliers implement actions against any non-conformances and be able to influence suppliers to get problems fixed, at pace.

For this role, we need to have someone based close to our manufacturers in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will be home-based the majority of the time but with weekly and monthly visits to our contract manufacturers.

This role will also have the requirement to travel periodically across the US visiting other sites alongside visits to our office in New York City and in UK.
