You will play a pivotal role in our Integrated Therapy team, responsible for working directly with children, young people and their families to provide a thorough evaluation of their mental health and emotional well-being. Additionally, you will deliver therapeutic interventions and treatments via an innovative clinical platform.
You will be able to work autonomously, adhere to a 5 p's formulation model, demonstrate knowledge and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and effectively address risk and safeguarding concerns using Healios processes and support. You will be part of a collaborative MDT.
The team
We are seeking a CAMHS Clinician who is passionate about providing high quality patient care in an innovative new service and working with a dynamic and forward-thinking team. You will provide internet-based emotional health & well-being video sessions, delivering assessments and our semi-structured therapeutic materials via our secure platform. Regular clinical supervision and in-house training will be provided to assist your professional development.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
Essential
- A core profession (RMN, RN-LD, OT, Practitioner Psychologist) including registration with HCPC or NMC
- Significant post-qualification experience working within children and family mental health services, delivering assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families
- Experience of working in Tier 3 CAMHS, or in the ‘Getting More Help’ and ‘Getting Risk Support’ iThrive quadrant
- Experience of working with complex cases and trauma
- Demonstrable experience of adapting therapy to meet the needs of neurodiverse children and adolescents
- Significant working knowledge and experience of undertaking risk assessment and safety planning
- An awareness and understanding of contemporary issues in the field of mental health including a record of continuing professional development
- Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives
- A desire to become part of a collaborative environment and share knowledge and learning for the benefit of all
- A curious mind-set that underpins your continuous drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS

- A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children

Great to have
- Experience and/or post qualification training in an area of interest
- Experience of digital psychological assessment and therapy
The responsibilities of this role may include
- Delivering clinical sessions effectively and efficiently including required record keeping and ROMS in line with team standards
- Producing high quality reports that are of high quality as determined by Healios’ Quality Check and audit processes
- Escalating emergent complexity, risk and safeguarding concerns to Seniors, Leads, Supervisors or Safeguarding as appropriate, with rationale for recommended actions
- Presenting and participating actively at MDTs
- Where opportunity arises, contributing to team projects
- Preparing for and attending regular supervision (eg. individual , group, etc) and records appropriately in clinical records and for monitoring purposes
