Job Description

Your new companyA lot has changed at Frontify over the last decade, but people continue to be at the heart of our vision.
Every day, we empower thousands of brand builders worldwide — including teams at Lufthansa, KIA, Vodafone, and Uber — to create brands that have an impact. Our more than 300 employees collaborate and engage in and around our headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and offices in London and New York City. And we’re looking for new team members to join us.
We’re built on a collaborative culture of experimentation, trust, and transparency. If you want to help us achieve our mission of creating a home where brands can thrive, read on.
Your teamYour new team is a group of motivated, collaborative, and innovative people. They are Designers, Product Managers, and Developers from more than seven different countries. They enjoy working together to create and evolve a well-loved product but always keep room for new ideas and approaches. Outside of work, some of them are parents, gamers, bookworms, adrenaline junkies, and so much more.
Your MissionYou’ll ensure that Frontify’s system infrastructure is cared for, maintained, and improved – it’s a fast-changing infrastructure, so there’s always something going on. Working closely with the R&D team, you’ll find the root cause of bugs and help the team fix them as well as document relevant processes. Beyond managing the daily infrastructural needs, you’ll be the first point of contact for our Europe- and US-based teams about anything related to the technical aspect of our platform.

  • You'll work with AWS services to build and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.
  • You'll collaborate closely with Developer Support and Deployment Support teams to streamline workflows, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system deployment processes.

Your story

  • You can work in a hybrid or on-site format within Switzerland where you’re able to work in our St. Gallen office on a regular basis.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineer role – ideally in the SaaS space.

  • You have knowledge and experience with Docker containerization, including container orchestration and management (e.g., Kubernetes or AWS ECS).
  • You have worked with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudfront or OpenSearch).

  • You have knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and have implemented automated build and deployment processes.
  • You have knowledge of Puppet configuration management (Bonus). You’ve worked cross functionally with Developer Support and Deployment Support roles.
  • You’re an IT generalist who’s comfortable shaping and defining the role with us.You have a strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog or Grafana).
