Job Description
Since inception, Flash Pack has made significant strides in establishing our brand as a leader in the travel industry. Our efforts over the last year have resulted in coverage by esteemed media outlets such as the New York Times, BBC, and Forbes, as well as top-tier travel publications such as Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler. In addition, we have successfully forged partnerships with prominent brands such as Samsung and MINI.
Now as we continue to grow and expand our presence, we're looking for someone to join our US team as PR & Partnerships Manager.
PR and Partnerships will play an essential role in our brand-building strategy globally, with a hyper-focus on US markets. As PR & Partnerships Manager you will work closely with our experienced agencies to develop and execute creative and innovative campaigns that deliver high-quality press coverage and drive innovative, strategic brand collaborations.
From day one, you will be entrusted and empowered to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets. You will report directly to our Head of PR & Partnerships in New York.

As we strive to create one million friends through our travel experiences, your efforts in developing strategic PR and partnership initiatives will play an instrumental role in realizing our mission.
What you’ll be doing
Work with Head of PR to identify story angles and appropriate journalists, publications, influencers, and partners to engage
Pitch and secure earned lifestyle and consumer coverage that brings to life Flashpack’s mission and customer stories
Craft tailored, effective comprehensive media plans that are creative, strategic, and thoughtful
Build and maintain relationships with key regional and national influencers, brands, and media outlets to create partnerships that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth
Maintain media lists, editorial calendars, and leadership speaking and award opportunities
Plan and execute media events and trade events
Prepare, analyze and refine measurement and monitoring reports

Who you are

Passion for networking, relationship building, and all things public relations
You already have an extensive network of media contacts in consumer, tech, business and marketing press and a portfolio of clips to show off
A proven track record of forging meaningful partnerships with brands and influencers
Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen and the ability to navigate and lead cross-functional plans
A strong understanding of brand positioning and messaging, and the ability to develop and maintain brand standards across all PR and partnership activities
Excellent writing and communication skills, with a knack for editing
What else
Salary: The salary range for this role is between $70,000 - $100,000 depending on experience. We also offer meaningful stock options after your first year with the company.
We have trailblazer total pay transparency and allow you to choose your total compensation plan balancing salary and options to suit your personal financial goals.
Location: You can work from anywhere in or around New York. Whilst we are building the US team, we may ask you to come to the UK to meet the team which would be covered by expenses.
