Product Manager: Research Services
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to shape and deliver a customer-focused services roadmap. In this role, you'll manage and enhance our existing services while introducing new features that align with our business strategy. You'll play a key part in providing an editor-led author experience, retaining and growing our customer base, and identifying opportunities for upselling.
Location: We perform at our best when we feel trusted and are able to choose an approach to working that suits us best, which is why we are a remote-first company. However, we also believe in face to face collaboration, and our UK colleagues meet once a month for team time and quarterly for company get togethers in our Leeds office, so we ask that you be within a commutable distance that you are comfortable with in order to attend the office on those occasions.
What You'll Do:
- Own and deliver the product roadmap for author, editor, and reviewer services, aligned with business strategy and OKRs.
- Collaborate with third-party platform partners to manage and deliver the roadmap.
- Develop a research services environment to provide learning materials and insights via third-party vendors.
- Lead the development of new features and workflow enhancements for a compelling author experience.
- Support investment cases for new initiatives.
- Champion the platform and services across the business, supporting training, meetings, and demos.
- Use market research and user insights to develop a content roadmap for optimal user experience.
- Manage the workflow for adding, editing, and removing content based on customer feedback.
- Develop access and business models to maximize customer benefits and ROI.
- Drive customer awareness and engagement with the platform, using adoption metrics to refine products and services.
- Liaise with Sales, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Content teams to communicate the roadmap and gather input.
- Support the marketing strategy for services, including lead nurturing and usage.
- Develop plans and materials for sales enablement, implementation, and onboarding.
- Work with Delivery and Architecture teams to ensure clear development and testing of new and existing services.
