We're deeply proud of our values, which are intrinsic to the way we behave every day. We take them seriously because we want our culture to thrive:
- We make an impact: We’re mission-driven and not afraid to break boundaries. We relentlessly focus on going the extra mile to solve problems.

- We’re in it together: we fail and learn fast — always as one team — and have fun along the way. We stay authentic and embrace our differences.
About the role:
Okay, we’ve waffled long enough. So let’s get to the good bit: You.
As Procurement Business Partner you will sit in our Procurement team but spend most of your time embedded within our ‘Scoping and Partnerships’ (S&P) BU who are tasked with rapidly incubating new products and propositions. Key accountabilities will be the scoping, sourcing and management of crucial supplier partnerships. The antithesis of a back office position, this role is all about forging new strategic manufacturing and Digital service partnerships that underpin our existing revolutionary female-first technology products.
This brand new role will also be the primary interface for the wider Operations function (S&OP, Logistics, Operations Quality, Customer Care) into our ‘Scoping & Partnerships’ and ‘Product Management’ BUs where you’ll be tasked with providing leadership, decision making and execution on all things Procurement and Supply Chain.
As an embedded SME within your stakeholder group, this role will suit a credible, calm and emotionally aware individual who can balance the dual requirements of advising/planning and execution. You will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, new supplier on-boarding and supplier relationship management activities for a small number of critical suppliers.
This is a strategic role embedded within the S&P BU and we see the position expanding and growing in line with the growth of the S&P function itself as new partnerships and products are brought into the portfolio.
Location: Hybrid working; a mix of working from our Bristol or London office & working remotely
Employment type: Permanent (please note, you must have the right to work in the UK)
What you’ll be doing at Elvie:
- Business Partner with our Product division – most notably with the ‘Scoping & Partnerships’ (S&P) and ‘Product Management’ functions – provide timely insight and procurement delivery to ensure the success of the Product Division
- Lead the creation and execution of a 1-5 year procurement roadmap that aligns with the S&P product delivery roadmap, focused on strategic sourcing and supplier development activities
- Scope New Product Introduction (NPI) opportunities against Operations criteria, drawing on wider operations SMEs to solicit constructive challenge and build a credible narrative of operations input and effort for NPI projects
- Source and qualify prospective manufacturing partners for S&P product categories, within adjacent categories to our existing breast pumping products and new women’s health categories
- Negotiate preferable win:win commercial models and contracts with new and current supply partners
- Lead the New Supplier activation process, from request to onboarding, acting as a liaison between S&P and Operations Quality
- Embed robust, meaningful Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles, mechanisms and governance with critical supply partners including such methods as MBR/QBRs, supplier and product co-development roadmaps, KPIs and SLAs, and risk/reward mechanisms
- Be the voice of Operations within the day to day activity of the S&P team, ensuring that holistic decisions are taken and that operations-owned deliverables are well executed
- Ensure our CMs are appropriately equipped and ready to meet our demand, managing this on a real time basis and also with longer term planning and investment
- Develop and execute new product cost strategies to meet business case requirements, represent procurement in debating cost/quality/speed/risk trade-offs through the product development lifecycle
- Leverage strategic cost analysis and competitor cost teardown activity to support supplier negotiation and continuous improvement programmes, either directly or through collaboration with Cost Engineering colleagues
