Collins Property Recruitment have partnered with an award-winning firm and one of only three UK Accounting firms that holds “Investors In People” to the Platinum standard. Our client is looking for a Senior Auditor and Accountant to join their company where the founders have a deep desire to shake off the traditional and sometimes lacklustre image of accounting firms, to one that provides an exciting environment for their employees to work in.

They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Accounts & Audit Senior to join their exceptional team during a period of growth, to work on a diverse range of clients and push their career to the next level.

Some of the day-to-day duties will include:

Working on audit assignments all the way from planning through to completion

  • Identifying key risk areas in the audit planning process
  • Demonstration of solid audit experience, with this role being split roughly 70% audit & 30% other general required tasks (e.g. accounting, tax and business advisory services)
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Assisting with training and development of more junior members of the team

The ideal candidate will have / be:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 3 years post-qualified experience
  • Confident user of excel
  • Experience of CCH software (desirable but not essential)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A true team player, able to build successful working relationships with both colleagues and clients
  • Commercially minded, able to see the bigger picture and the wider impact
