About you
You’ll be joining the Product team as a Cross Border Payment Product Manager. Reporting to the Multi-currency, FX and Digital assets Head of Product, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.
As a Product Manager you will be joining Multi-Currency and FX team, we are looking for someone with strong experience as a Product Manager in an Agile environment to build products that challenge pre-existing market pain-points to ensure that ClearBank creates a product that meets both existing and future customer needs.
The Product Manager will be the driving force for ensuring that the product design, phasing and roll-out are aligned to ClearBank’s overall strategic vision and deliver tangible customer benefits whilst complying with all relevant regulation and legislation.
You will be
The Product Manager role works closely with cross functional scrum teams to define, prioritise and build ClearBank’s payments functionality. The Product Manager will also liaise closely with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business including Operational SMEs, Business Analysts and Financial Crime SMEs to design a product that balances the demands of payments with effective risk management. This role will be integral to defining the ClearBank approach delivering innovative payment solutions in the U.K. and global financial industry. The role will drive the implementation of key propositions within the organisation to ensure that all functional areas are operationally ready to support live Customers.
As a Product Manager at ClearBank you will lead and own your deliveries. You will work with the Product Lead to form a product vision and commercially focused prioritised roadmap, driven by data.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute product roadmaps in conjunction with the Product Lead to achieve the overall product vision and goals
Manage stakeholder engagement as the product goes through discovery to delivery
Work closely with engineering and cross functional teams, understanding the problems to solve and the reasons on why.
Support the Multi-Currency and FX Product Lead with ownership of the product level P&L including setting relevant pricing (in collaboration with relevant departments) and overall delivery against budget
Leverage SMEs within ClearBank (as well as external resource as appropriate), define the technology deliverables that are required to underpin the Product Roadmap and working alongside Business Analysts to accurately document the requirements
Ensure the Operating Models and existing processes are fully documented, updated and aligned to the functionality of your product by coordinating relevant activities
Liaise closely with ClearBank’s customers to run collaborative workshops with the aim of understanding Customer needs and ultimately demonstrating the ability to embed real-life use cases within the overall product design
Work with ClearBank’s commercial teams to produce relevant literature outlining ClearBank’s payments functionality and support knowledge sharing to ensure that the commercial team are suitably knowledgeable around the product’s capabilities
Stay up to date with the market news and trends, customer feedback back and incorporate them into product design
Manage competing demands from within ClearBank and effectively prioritise the work in a fast-moving environment
Manage risk effectively as the product is designed, working with key stakeholders and governance to match the banks appetite to risk prior to launching products.
Core Skills and Experience:
Payment experience required with an emphasis on correspondent banking/FX with delivery of cross-border payment solutions.
Experience of working in agile product delivery.
Experience of working directly with engineering teams.
Experience in Treasury and International Cash Management is a plus.
Experience or Interest in Digital Assets is a plus.
Being “hands-on” and having experience in working on multiple product deliveries at the same time, being structured in approach of achieving objectives and goals.
Strong analysis, problem-solving, and idea creation skills – contributing to the design and solution process.
Ability to convert analysis in to clear and concise documentation – visual representation is important.
A motivated, proactive, self-starter who wants to make a difference and play a key part in growing an exciting business.
A collaborative worker and team player.
A person who takes ownership and accountability of their projects, who understands the depths of problem statements beyond just face value requirements.
Adaptable, embraces change, and enjoys multiple challenges.
