Job Description

A bit about us:

ClearBank was built on the belief that banking infrastructure would no longer slow down progress. Instead, it’s the catalyst that unlocks the potential to innovate. That’s why our clients; financial institutions; from fintech’s and crypto platforms, to banks and credit unions use our API to power their banking infrastructure.

Your Mission:

You will be joining the Risk Oversight and Testing team. Reporting to the Director of Risk and Controls Testing you’ll be part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.

As a Risk Oversight and Testing Analyst, you will initially:

  • Be responsible for conducting quality assurance (QA) over quality control (QC) testing of customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence, as well as other screening and monitoring activities from a correspondent banking AML / financial crime perspective. This involves performing detailed and objective reviews to check alignment to regulatory standards, and internal policies, standards and procedures.
  • Recording, validating and communicating QA findings and results to relevant stakeholders, providing detailed feedback to the QC Function and Financial Crime Operations.
  • Following documented procedures and related processes that underpin the execution of QA activities within ClearBank.
  • Maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure consistency of approach and an environment where colleagues can proactively seek advice.
  • As you develop in role, you will also be trained to support other Risk Oversight and Testing activities, for example other areas of QA; the planning and execution of risk-based thematic reviews related to compliance and conduct risk, operational risk and financial crime risk; action tracking and oversight; and the production of monthly MI and reporting.
