Job Description

About Us

Circle is building the world’s leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.

We’re proud to be a fully remote company of around 170 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot.

Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we’ve hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come!

About the role

The Circle sales team is small but mighty. We're looking for a seasoned leader to join our team and lead a group of 7-8 Account Executives. The Sales Manager is a key leadership position at Circle responsible for hiring, and coaching a team of Account Executives to hit aggressive revenue targets.

This role is a rare opportunity. Circle is an incredibly fast-growing PLG company with an expanding international market, an expanding suite of products and a world-class culture. The person that takes on this role, will be integral to Circle's success.

  • You’re coaching. You love to listen to calls, provide constructive feedback and see each member improve by 0.001% each day. You’ve got some experience with systems like Gong.
  • You’re selling. You love getting involved in deals and your team loves to bring you in (because they know it will help them close the deal). You know when to take control of the deal to bring it across the line, or how to step back allow the rep to get better. At the end of the day, you love hit your number, and know that sometimes you need to roll up your sleeves to get there.
  • You’re organized and like to document things. You thrive when things get messy. You’re documenting process, organizing information to make it easier for everyone to do their job. Building evergreen content in Notion on sales playbooks, rules of engagement, or libraries of calls for reps to reference for learning opportunities.
  • You’re deep in the data. You like running reports in the CRM (Hubspot), building dashboards and proposing new processes to create important data. You have strong excel and google sheets skills.
  • You’re a passionately communicating. You know how to create engaging, well designed presentations for sales teams. You know how to speak to the executive team, with a clear understanding of how your business runs.
  • You’re collaborating with other teams. You’re building strong internal partnerships with cross-functional teams inside and beyond the Sales organization, including Sales, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations
  • You’re being resourceful and creative. You may not have all the answers, but you will find them and come up with creative ways to solve problems.
  • You’re showing your team the way. We have ambitious goals at Circle, which requires a strong work ethic. You lead by example and value hard work.

What you'll need to be successful

  • You know how PLG works. You have worked at a product-led growth company, and have a strong opinion on what developing a world-class sales motion inside a product-led organization looks like.
  • You’re resourceful. You may not have all the answers, but you know how to find them.
