As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll be at the heart of this transformation, leveraging your expertise in Kubernetes, Cloud Architecture, Terraform, and Amazon Connect to innovate and drive change. The day to day –

  • Spearhead the development, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure across AWS, Salesforce, and D365 platforms, focusing on enhancing scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Engage in close collaboration with software development teams to optimize code deployment processes via CI/CD pipelines, contributing to a more efficient software development lifecycle.
  • Take charge of implementing and overseeing continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
  • Drive the automation of the software development lifecycle, encompassing code deployment, system scaling, and health monitoring.
  • Guarantee the high availability and optimal performance of applications, while also planning for disaster recovery and system resilience.
  • Harness a broad spectrum of AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, to construct and administer sophisticated applications.
  • Utilise cutting-edge containerisation and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes, to maximise resource efficiency and streamline deployment processes.
  • Craft comprehensive documentation, develop educational tutorials, and deliver expert technical guidance to bolster the capabilities of development teams.

About you –

  • Demonstrated leadership in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS services, to architect, implement, and oversee robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Mastery in Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring applications are deployed and managed effectively under my guidance.
  • A solid background in DevOps methodologies, championing CI/CD processes to enhance development pipelines.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve intricate issues across software applications, infrastructure, and networking.
  • Knowledgeable in DevSecOps, embedding security measures within the development lifecycle to mitigate risks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate and succeed in a tech-centric landscape.
  • Advanced visualisation capabilities to dissect and enhance the platform's infrastructure, applications, and overarching strategy.
  • A management-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration among engineers, developers, SREs, and product leaders.
  • A commitment to leadership development and staying abreast of cutting-edge industry developments and technological advancements.
