  • Manage the prioritisation of requests with the Centrica LNG business to ensure that requests are appropriately managed, and expectations are met

  • Ensure that the execution of agreements with new counterparties is communicated out to the appropriate teams within our business and subsequently input into our systems in timeframes determined by the LNG team

  • With the support of Legal, maintain the Centrica LNG standard agreements, proactively keeping up to date with legal, business and market developments impacting the terms required

  • Manage the onboarding of new counterparties and vessels

  • Coordinate the execution of contracts following the LNG internal approval process

  • Oversee counterparty management on various LNG trading platforms

  • Work with LNG Contract Manager to maintain an accurate record/database of all executed contracts and counterparties for the LNG business.

The Person:

  • Experience in commodity markets and/or background working within a LNG trading business

  • Knowledge of contracts such as Master Sale and Purchase agreements, Confirmation Notices, Framework Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Parent Company Guarantees, Letters of Credit, etc

  • Experience of managing counterparty relationships

  • Understanding of both Legal and LNG operational principles in order to balance both needs to achieve a result

  • A proven record of delivery in a high performing team

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills

  • Professional manner, collaborative approach and willingness to work with various different stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritise and experience of balancing multiple activities to ensure all goals are met
