About the role

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team with high professionalism with varying everyday life including your own areas of responsibility. You will be a part of our Danish People team supporting the employees of Centrica Energy in both Denmark, England, Singapore and Belgium. More specifically, the support will consist of personnel legal issues, drafting employment contracts, terminations, etc. The person will work in close cooperation with our People Partners but will also have close and direct communication with the business and employees. Besides supporting on a wide range of tasks, you will ultimately help to ensure that our employees and you have a good and constructive collaboration.

You will be the go-to person in our Centrica Energy business unit. This means that you:

  • Prepare employment contracts, appendices, terminations etc.

  • Proactively support with and/or independently drive optimization of HR processes and workflows

  • Contribute to and advise our business and managers in our HR system Workday (it is not a requirement that you have knowledge of the system, but that you can easily get to know new systems

  • Participate in relevant HR projects, and have the opportunity, in the long term, to run own HR projects/implementations

  • Advise our employees, managers and candidates and helps to ensure a good experience at all times

As a People Administrator in our team, you become part of a community where sparring and collaboration are important. We work as a team and support each other across the organization and locations – and that is why we are looking for you, a team player, who can contribute to the good atmosphere in the team, and who can help maintain an overview during busy periods.

The People team is based in both Denmark, England and Belgium, but in the local People team, you will be part of an ambitious and passionate team of 7 where there is a strong focus on creating value and supporting our business the best way possible. We have an informal tone, contribute to an inspiring working environment and believe that the best results are created through collaboration.

This is an onsite part time role to be based out of one of our locations in Denmark (Aalborg or Copenhagen) and we expect the weekly hours will be around 25 hours.

About you

You see yourself as service-minded, professional, and very detail-oriented. The ideal candidate thrives in an administrative role and has:

  • A degree in law or business law, an office education within HR/Admin or a similar relevant background

  • Previous experience in a role where creating an overview and ensuring efficiency and precision in your problem-solving were key elements

  • Experience ensuring a good, safe experience for our employees

  • IT acumen

It would be an advantage, but not a requirement if you have experience with:

  • Relevant legislation in Singapore

  • Relocations

  • Payroll
