Job Description

THE CARWOW GROUP

Carwow Group is driven by a passion for getting people into cars. But not just any car, the right car. That’s why we are building the go-to destination for car-changing. Designed to reach drivers everywhere with our trail-blazing portfolio of personality rich automotive brands; Carwow, Auto Express, evo, Driving Electric and Car Buyer.

What started as a simple reviews site, is now one of the largest online car-changing destinations in Europe - over 10m customers have used Carwow to help them buy and sell cars since its inception. Last year we grew over 50% with nearly £3bn worth of cars bought on site, while £1.8bn of cars were listed for sale through our Sell My Car service.

In 2024 we went big and acquired Autovia, doubling our audience overnight. Together we now have one of the biggest YouTube channels in the world with over 1.1 billion annual views, sell 1.2 million print copies of our magazines and have an annual web content reach over 350million.

WHY JOIN US?

We are winners of the prestigious Culture 100 award that recognises the most loved and happiest tech companies to work for! We have just raised $52m in funding led by global venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners (an early backer of LinkedIn and Shopify) to accelerate our growth plans!

As pioneers, we’re always driving for new territory and positive change, so our work as a group is never done. Where others see difficulty, it’s our responsibility to see possibility – building new experiences, launching new titles and listening to drivers.

Being a part of Carwow Group means championing drivers and the automotive industry, acting as a disrupter and never being afraid to fail (but learning fast when we do!).

Our team of 500 employees across the UK, Germany, Spain and Portugal are revolutionising car-changing and we are fast expanding our mission across every single brand and country we operate in, so jump in!

THE ROLE

We are on a mission to make car changing simpler for everyone and are now building out a Business Solutions team to help deliver on this promise across our platform.

You will play a critical role in transforming our business operations through the power of Salesforce. You will be a strategic partner, working directly with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their challenges and aspirations. Your communication and analytical skills will be instrumental in translating these needs into actionable Salesforce solutions.

This role provides an ideal combination of business insight and technical expertise. You'll have the chance to explore the core operations of our business and apply your Salesforce knowledge to develop and implement creative solutions

We are looking for a passionate problem-solver who excels in a collaborative environment. If you have a talent for understanding complex requirements and the creativity to turn them into effective solutions, this is the perfect role for you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will become an expert in understanding our business needs. By conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and observing users, you will identify pain points, opportunities, and desired features for the Salesforce platform.

After gathering the requirements, you will carefully analyse them to identify any gaps or inconsistencies, ensuring they align with the overall business strategy.

You will:

  • Work closely with the internal team of Salesforce engineers and administrators to collaboratively design optimal solutions using Salesforce functionalities, configurations, and potential integrations. Together, you will translate these solutions into clear and concise roadmaps, outlining the implementation phases and timelines
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement
  • Prepare detailed documentation of business processes and system requirements
  • Manage data quality and integrity and configure workflows and automation tools
  • You will work hand-in-hand with the development and data teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and providing ongoing support throughout the implementation process.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Please note: We know that no candidate will be the perfect match for all we've listed in this posting, so we’d encourage you to apply if you feel you're close to the brief but not an exact match. Ideally you’ll have

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst
  • Driven decision making on business solutions for customer data management including: solution evaluation, workflow mapping, tool consolidation, vendor assessment
  • Built 2-3 year business solution strategic roadmaps mapped to clear business needs.
  • Led business analysis on key project with critical business value
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed and define a problem space and operating model to distil business requirements in a format that can be used to assess solutions and plan enhancements
  • You are a strategic thinker, being able to think both top down and bottom up.
  • Ideally, you would have experience working in high paced environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, whether to the tech team, to other stakeholders or to our leadership team.
  • Excel at managing stakeholders, whilst also being confident in voicing your own opinions and challenging others.
  • Experience creating project roadmaps and timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in eliciting, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Great attitude, keen to learn and an excitement to build something you can be proud of
  • Process mapping / data modelling / use case modelling
