carwow is looking for a Lead Product Analyst to join our Analytics team on a full-time basis.

As a Lead Product Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to steer a high-performing product analytics team, while leveraging your analytical prowess to enhance our understanding of our products and customer behaviours.   • Proactive Curiosity: Experience taking ownership of your area of product, utilising your insatiable curiosity to drive meaningful insights.
  • Coding Proficiency: SQL skills are a must, and a willingness to learn Python is highly valued.
  • Experimentation Expertise: Experience with experimental design and analysis (AB testing) and proven stats knowledge
  • Analytics Proficiency: Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Amplitude, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Data Explorer: Experience working with complex data sets to extract insights that illuminate business and product performance.
  • Fast-Paced Collaboration: A background excelling in multidisciplinary teams, delivering top-notch analysis that informs strategic decisions and fuels business growth.
  • Abstract to Actionable: Comfortable transforming abstract questions into quantifiable metrics and actionable insights that drive our understanding.
  • Product Experience: Passionate about product analytics and its experience demonstrating its impact on business performance
  • Data Enthusiast: Enthusiastic about data, metrics, analysis, trends and applying statistical methodologies to evaluate user behaviour and online products.
  • Leadership: Previous experience in line management or mentoring junior colleagues
  • Mentorship: Exposure to playing a vital role in educating and shaping our product analytics approach, sharing insights within your team and the wider product structure.

Responsbilities

  • Lead with impact: lead a high-performing product analytics team, providing guidance and support that shapes their growth and development.
  • Prioritise and Communicate: Build strong relationships with stakeholders playing a key role in strategic thinking of mid term roadmaps while also ensuring we meet current goals with tactical prioritisation.
  • Data Informed Innovation: Dive deep into customer journeys, accessing our experiment strategy, and collaborate with product managers, designers and researchers to unearth insights that help us move forward at pace.
  • Drive Results: Empower product teams with actionable insights derived through analysis of user behaviour and product performance, steering us towards ambitious targets and objectives
  • Influence Through Data: Seamlessly integrate into product teams, using your data driven recommendations to challenge decisions, guide changes and discover new opportunities
  • Experiment and Analyse: Design and conduct impactful experiments, translating results into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Metrics Matter: Define and track product team objectives, holding them accountable through insightful data-informed decisions.
  • Optimise and Innovate: Continuously look to enhance our analytical processes and tools to increase our effectiveness and efficiency in supporting product teams and our business goals.
  • Champion Knowledge Sharing: Democratise insights across the organisation, spreading learnings, celebrating successes and enhancing the entire product function.
  • Lead the Data Community: Be a guiding force without our broader analytics and data science community, sharing expertise, facilitating knowledge sharing and fostering continued collaborative development.
