š£ A bit about the role.
We are looking for a passionate people experience specialist to join our team here at Butternut Box in Blyth, near Worksop and Doncaster.
Our mission is to bring health and happiness to dogs and their humans. This is a mission we follow for our internal team too. Weāre striving to create a delightful & inclusive environment where everyone can come to work just as they are and have a true sense of belonging. Weāre continually looking for ways to keep our team entertained and growing as individuals. As part of the People team, you will be a key member in delivering that mission.
This role reports to the People Manager for Rudieās Kitchen and will be a fully onsite role Monday to Friday.
šæ In this role you can expect to:
- Support on a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitates the experience we want to bring to our new and existing squad members.Tasks will range from site events, onboarding activities, surprise and delight moments, travel arrangements, engagement events and much much more!
- Own people experience projects that will not only wow our current team but also continue to add value as our company grows
- Organise and host events to get the whole site engaged and excited, considering a blend 24/7 operation and Monday to Friday teams
- Support planning of our annual company wide Great Butternut Get Together and site wide events like our Winter Party, Christmas lunches and product launches
- Share your knowledge and passion to support and inspire department level social events to promote team connections
- Support with communicating key messages to our squad (events, people initiatives, office updates, and company / site news). Partnering with cross functional teams to ensure messages get to the right audience, at the right time
- Find opportunities to bring our values to life. Think games, challenges, award ceremonies, lunch & learns and moments of celebration
- Provide a memorable and seamless experience for all new joiners during onboarding in Rudieās Kitchen and Aceās Pantry. Onboarding is an event in itself
- Manage the relationship with vendors, finding planet-friendly food (we are a B Corp business), drinks, gifts and social activities. Working in line with the annual budget, finding creative solutions where necessary
- Organise volunteering opportunities for the squad so we can give back to our local community #genuinecare
- Support the planning & execution of quarterly Townhalls and off-site meetings and gatherings.

š A bit about what we offer.
- A salary of Ā£30,000 - Ā£35,000 per year depending on experience
- 257.5 hours holiday and an additional 8 hours for every year of service (up to a maximum of 5)
- 39 hours of paid āpawsā days per year to support to learning, wellbeing and rest
