šŸ“£ A bit about the role.

As the Brand Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the identity of our brand. We're on the lookout for a creative, highly motivated, results-oriented Brand Marketing Lead to help define and drive forward the Marro brand.

This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with some work-from-home days each week. We expect you to spend 3 days at the Box Office in White City - London, with the possibility of occasional travel to other locations as your role evolves. What youā€™ll do:

  • Take ownership of growing the Marro brand sustainably and efficiently, including:
    • Executing impactful brand marketing activity across paid, owned and earned channels
    • Owning and communicating the brand planning calendar
    • Leading & managing briefing & prioritisation processes
    • Seeking out new channels and activities to deliver brand-led growth
    • Scoping partnership opportunities with other brands, organisations and talent
  • Measure the performance of our brand marketing efforts effectively to inform future plans, including:
    • Running carefully devised regional or channel-specific tests
    • Setting up reporting and analysing overall brand performance through regular brand health tracking
  • Act as a brand guardian to ensure weā€™re executing in line with our brand guidelines, including:
    • Reviewing and feeding back on creative assets produced by our internal & external creatives
    • Producing messaging guidelines for partners to inform the production of assets
  • Report on and manage the brand budget, including:
    • Periodic tracking of our delivered investment against the budget weā€™ve committed to
    • Acting as the lead contact for agencies and partners incl. negotiating terms and costs
  • Lead the brand function
    • Lead the team of designers, copywriters & creatives across multiple projects and always ensure the quality and brand standards are met
    • Direct, motivate and inspire the team to get the best out of them whilst helping them thrive in their careers
    • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide articulate and considered feedback to the team
    • Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future
    • Collaborate closely with the wider team of passionate cat lovers
    • Foster relationships with the dog squad, collaborating on growth strategies.
  • Grow the brand and build strong impactful initiatives. This is an ever growing role and the expectations will flourish with the responsibility.

  • Experience in building compelling brand plans using customer and market insight
  • Adept at executing campaigns with direct experience buying media for multiple channels
  • A strong understanding of brand measurement principles, techniques, and KPIs
  • Experience in managing all or part of a brand budget
  • An eye for impactful design & copywriting and the ability to feedback on creative work
  • Very strong communication skills and relationship-building with internal & external teams
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • You're a cat lover who understands the special bond between humans and their feline family members and can build a brand that tugs at the heartstrings of our audience.
