Why this job matters

BT Security does not directly own propositions such as VMware & FortiSASE but we need to be accountable for the security components of these propositions. We need to ensure that the customer experience of these security features is consistent with the wider security portfolio and that the operating model is the same. We have a huge opportunity of supporting customers by making our security propositions work better together through bundling, policy alignment, customer experience along with the integration of Eagle-i. This role is pivotal in identifying those opportunities across all of Business customers. There is also a big opportunity to integrate Security into the wider BT portfolio to make them natively secure, making the Better on BT messaging stronger.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure that Security is responsible for the security components of the secure networking propositions.
  • Ensure that as Security evolves, its security components and features in the wider portfolio are embedded into the secure networking propositions along with aligning the customer experience and operating model.
  • Identify opportunities for bundling Security products together which will improve the customers security posture, including demonstrating how Eagle-I can add additional value.
  • Be able to define the customer benefits of each product bundle and develop the roadmap / business case (if required) to deliver it.
  • Work with the specific Product Managers to integrate the bundling requirements into their product roadmaps to ensure delivery.
  • Identity and evaluate opportunities to integrate Security into BT’s wider portfolio across all channels.
  • Develop joint roadmaps with wider portfolio teams including production of business cases and delivery plans.
  • Ensure that the customer experience of the integrated security product is consistent with the core BT product.
  • Support on secure multi-tower bids.
  • Be an evangelist for Security across the wider BT Business portfolio teams.

Experience you'll have

  • Proven ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively, ensuring all parties are heard and reaching mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in uncertain environments, quickly adapting to changing conditions and incomplete information.
  • Exceptional skill in crafting and communicating a compelling vision that inspires and motivates teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong capability in developing comprehensive business cases that clearly articulate the value proposition, cost-benefit analysis, and strategic alignment of initiatives.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities, driving business growth and profitability through informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of BT’s core propositions across the different channels
  • Excellent Vendor management experience.
