We are transforming our portfolio to deliver 5G, Cloud and IP products and solutions for our customers, which is a critical component of BT’s digital transformation and simplification. To help achieve this we are bringing a new PMO Professional onto our team. Your expertise will contribute towards one of the largest and most important customer focused migrations in the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already begun their career in a PMO environment who is looking for that next step - to take on a challenging role with significant growth potential. To support you we offer comprehensive training and development programs, including professional certifications like P3O and soft skills training. You will be responsible for managing specific PMO services, ensuring governance compliance, and acting as a central point for contract management within a highly experienced & supportive team.

What you’ll be doing

Manage PMO Services: Take ownership of PMO services such as reporting, benefits management, finance, demand, or change management. You will work independently with the support of team members.


Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to established governance practices, conduct quality assurance checks, and collaborate with program leads to identify and resolve issues.


Contract Management: Serve as the central point of contact for contract extensions, coordinating with team members handling legal aspects.


Communication: Engage regularly with senior management, tailoring your communication to different audiences. This is essential as you will play a key role in presenting information and ensuring clarity across teams.


Proactive Problem-Solving: Actively engage with teams to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement within the PMO.

Experience Required

• Experience working in a PMO environment, whether in programme or portfolio management. You understand PMO processes and have hands-on experience with PMO services.
• Producing accurate and timely management information to support decision making.
• Working with teams to ensure PMO services are run to the required quality.
• Producing analysis and audits to identify potential blockers and propose solutions
• Good experience at working to a reporting cadence.
