Office Locations Available – Bristol, Sheffield, Newcastle (Gosforth)

BT offers flexible working, a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.

You'll have the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver work orders to the Project & Programme management team. This may involve managing some work orders from start to finish (with a small to medium degree of risk) or supporting project activities as part of a wider Programme or Project Team.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to maintain effective working relationships across our organization and with your customer, at the appropriate level.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues using a RAID log.
  • Contribute to project & programme governance by providing regular status updates within BT and externally.
  • Learn and follow the necessary Programme & Project Management methodologies and processes to benefit both now and in the future.
  • Coordinate delivery resources as needed. Collaborate with third-party suppliers on agreements, planning, timelines, and quality of deliverables.

You'll have the following skills & experience:

  • Customer-facing experience is essential.
  • Experience in IT Project Management, particularly with Network projects, is highly desirable. However, broader IT project management experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience in project management or involvement in project delivery. A strong interest in pursuing a career in IT project management is crucial.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive and able to take the initiative – a self-starter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a great communicator who can build relationships and rapport.
  • Determination and tenacity to achieve the right outcomes.
  • Resilient, with the ability to overcome challenges.
  • Team-oriented and a natural collaborator.
  • Familiarity with working alongside third parties and key stakeholders.
