Why this job matters

As a Technical/Network Designer or Architect at BT, your primary role is to design and deliver solutions tailored to the needs of our external customers, specializing in network, voice, or contact centre solutions. Collaborating within a global team, you'll lead medium to large designs and may even take on the role of a design lead, influencing our future direction. Emphasising customer-centricity, you'll promote our offerings and ensure solutions align with customer needs. As a valued team player, you'll foster open communication, share knowledge, and collaborate effectively to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities as a Network Designer

  • Responsible for delivering medium to large designs.

  • May lead design projects, reviewing all components and delivering the overall design.

  • Possess expert knowledge of overall design.

  • Contribute to technical discussions, guiding others and improving design principles.

  • Share design principles with senior levels, shaping future direction, potentially transitioning to a customer-facing role.

Flexible Working
This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
