Job Description

Location: Debrecen, Hungary

Work Schedule: Normal working hours
Flexible Work Opportunity: Hybrid Model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Country HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving key HR initiatives that align with our business objectives and support our long-term strategy. As an HRBP, you will partner closely with senior leaders and line managers to provide HR solutions that foster a high-performance culture, encourage employee development, and ensure compliance with both internal policies and local labour laws.


Key Responsibilities


As a Country HRBP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting HR strategies that are crucial to the success of our business. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure that HR practices are tailored to the evolving needs of the business and drive the continuous development of leadership capabilities across the organization.


• Partner with senior leaders and line managers to achieve business and strategic objectives through targeted HR solutions
• Deliver best-in-class HR practices, including workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and leadership coaching
• Support the implementation of the Global BT strategy by aligning HR initiatives with business needs
• Lead and manage transformation and change programs, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
• Coach and mentor leadership teams, enhancing their effectiveness and decision-making capabilities
• Ensure compliance with Hungarian labour laws and internal company policies across all HR functions
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to drive organizational design and development initiatives
• Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of HR practices and recommend improvements to support the business goals


What You’ll Bring


We are looking for a results-oriented HR professional with extensive experience in strategic HR management. You should possess strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully driving HR initiatives that contribute to business success.


• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in HR, preferably in a generalist or business partner role
• Leadership Support: Experience in customer-facing HR roles or supporting leadership teams in a business context is an advantage
• Legal Knowledge: A solid understanding of Hungarian labour laws will be an advantage
• Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Problem-solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges and implement practical solutions
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset, with a strong focus on achieving common goals


Professional Skills


• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to adapt them to different business needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR processes and initiatives
