What you’ll be doing
The Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory returns for Lloyd’s (including Solvency II returns) and the BMA, and statutory accounts for Brit’s Lloyd’s Syndicates and Syndicate related legal entities. The primary purpose of this role is to prepare for these requirements, training and mentor direct report/s whilst providing assistance and support to the Senior Manager - Regulatory Reporting in fulfilling their responsibilities.
You
Ideally, you’ll have a relevant accountancy qualification as well as experience within the commercial insurance sector (knowledge of Lloyd’s market desirable) and you’ll show your willingness to learn by challenging the status quo by identifying and implementing change where necessary.
Using your sound understanding of current insurance industry standards, you’ll be able to complete regulatory returns and produce statutory accounts (Lloyd’s Syndicate or related entities desirable).
