The Team
You’ll be part of the data management team who support all areas of our business to optimize the use of enterprise data in accordance with the policies and defined frameworks. Improving & maintaining the quality of data is a key component to Brit’s data strategy.
The Data Management Team are responsible for supporting the organisation in the management of our data as a strategic asset. You’ll help them support the implementation & adoption of data management best practices, processes, and capabilities to support data governance, data ownership, meta data management, data quality management and master & reference data management. The team are also advocates for improving data culture within the enterprise.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the data management efforts with Brit’s Modern Data Platform
- Lead in designing and implementing Data Quality Management strategy.
- Engage with data owners to identify critical data elements for each domain, as well as to define data quality standards.
- Support implementation and adherence of data governance policies and processes, aligning them to industry standards where applicable.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Brit’s data catalogue
- Build & mature Data owner & steward communities.
- Support and mature master & reference data management stewardship processes
- Utilising your knowledge of SQL to analyse data quality issues and to build data quality rules, as well as your understanding of Data Governance
