What you’ll be doing
You’ll help us get a handle on the business risks within Credit Control and make sure we’ve got the right controls in place to manage them.
Assisting with the business planning process for our team will be part of your role, as well as using your expert knowledge to improve our credit control premium messaging processes and policies.
You’ll also step in as the Deputy for the Group Credit Control Manager whenever needed, ensuring we take a proactive approach to credit control and cash allocation. Providing reports on Credit Control performance and related issues will be another key responsibility, along with resolving complex problems and escalating any outstanding issues as appropriate.
You’ll handle broker liaison to address specific or complex credit control issues on behalf of our outsourced service providers for all classes of business.
In terms of outsourced service delivery, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our outsourced providers for credit control and cash allocation functions.
Conducting weekly and monthly performance reviews of the outsourced providers and ensuring remedial action plans are in place and executed when necessary will be crucial.
You’ll work with outsourced providers and underwriters to optimise premium collection and cash allocation, manage the aging and escalation of queries, and develop, implement, and manage performance measures for your area of responsibility. Monitoring the SLA performance of the offshore team and ensuring agreed sampling of quality checks are undertaken will also be part of your role.
You’ll assist in planning, forecasting, and agreeing on service volumes and service level metrics, and help identify opportunities to expand the service where additional value can be obtained for the business. Identifying training needs for the outsourced service provider through quality checking and providing corrective training or developing appropriate procedures to address issues will be important.
Lastly, you’ll act as the ambassador for Brit’s outsourced service provider to the business.
