What you’ll be doing

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in the London Insurance Market you’ll join our Underwriting Ledgers team in this critical role, partaking in the timely and accurate processing and reconciliation of the Syndicate 2988 and Brit Insurance Services Limited (BISL) general ledgers, with ownership of all aspects of the day-to-day accounting.

You’ll continue to build on your existing Data analysis tools and techniques supporting the Underwriting Ledgers team with transformation initiatives, including implementation and enhancement of finance systems. You’ll ensure that the books and records of all entities are maintained in an accurate and efficient manner and that their balance sheet positions are understood and justified. Your interpersonal abilities will come into play continually identifying, assessing, driving and owning improvements to the underlying processes that support data flows into the general ledger, working closely with other teams within the business as necessary and supporting transformation initiatives.
