What you’ll be doing
A superb opportunity to further your career within our motivated and inclusive Delegated Authorities team. You’ll join as a Delegated Authorities Manager, overseeing one team member with ample opportunity to support the development of other, less experienced members of the team with their technical development within delegated underwriting. You may already benefit from managerial/mentoring experience and/or be keen to build experience in this area. Your technical knowledge in all aspects of the Delegated Authority world will be fully utilised ensuring that Brit Coverholders (and other third parties) and binding authorities are managed in line with syndicate procedures, regulatory requirements and best practice.
You’ll already have good knowledge of insurance industry practices and current regulatory requirements, including Lloyd’s & FCA requirements for Coverholder management and will be eager to keep up to date with any changes. There are some large-scale projects on the horizon to get your teeth into and demonstrate your abilities. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills will be key in this role whilst maintaining positive working relationships.
