Your Mission 💪

This is an excellent opportunity for a top 10 trained professional with both an audit and industry background looking for a interesting and varied second step in industry. You will be working within boxxe’s finance team, where you'll blend technical expertise with effective communication to uphold a robust control environment. As a Financial Reporting Manager, your pivotal role involves ensuring meticulous consideration of accounting implications in all commercial, operational, and strategic decisions, contributing significantly to the business's financial oversight.

What you’ll be doing 🎯

  • Prepare accurate statutory annual accounts and financial reporting for all Group companies, including complex areas like M&A, treasury, share schemes
  • Work with Finance Manager on month-end procedures and monthly management reporting, including developing ESG reporting
  • Manage year-end audit process for all Group entities
  • Oversee outsourced payroll function, calculate bonuses and commissions.
  • Drive best practises with our inhouse ERP system and embrace automation opportunities
  • Handle tax compliance and filings (VAT, corporation tax, R&D claims) with support of external advisors.
  • Assist with forecasting Group's cash position, manage forex
  • Establish and enforce robust financial controls throughout the business
  • Support daily financial activities and ad-hoc tasks as required.

What experience we think you’ll need 🚀

  • Be ACA qualified ideally
  • Have a background in audit
  • Prior group accounting and consolidation experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong/Advanced Excel skills
  • Able to prioritise and manage demands under pressure and work flexibly
  • Confident managing external advisors
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to present and simplify financial information
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and collaborate well in a team
  • Previous NetSuite experience ideal but not essential
  • Technical knowledge of IFRS and risk management is advantageous
  • Experience in process improvement, automation, and systems change is desirable
