POSITION: Software Senior Engineer

LOCATION: 1400 Liberty Ridge Drive, Chesterbrook, PA 19087

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for maintaining/improving the testing strategy that we use for testing various services within Boomi. Work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings. Work closely with developers and site reliability Engineers to share knowledge and ensure the quality of that process including writing/documenting unit, integration and live tests, and creating regression tests. Work in an agile software developments team to design test frameworks and implement automated tests using those test frameworks. Setup test environments, recreate issues, ensure quality of the product, and troubleshoot to satisfy the technical and product requirements. Mentor junior quality engineers and lead performance engineering strategy and efforts for the team. Assist monitoring and maintaining large-scale high-availability systems on different cloud platforms.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study and three years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study and five years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have two years of experience in each of the following skills: advanced automation experience using Java, Selenium, Maven and other mocking frameworks; change management tools like Ansible; scripting knowledge - Python, Shell scripts, JavaScripts, or PHP; version control tools like GIT, SVN; performance/Load testing using JMeter or Load runner; running Functional, Non-functional, Regression and smoke tests; testing REST APIs, MySQL Database; working on Linux based operating systems; using agile project management tools like JIRA; CI/CD tools like Jenkins or harness; and working on AWS or Azure cloud platform services.
