POSITION: Software Quality Senior Engineer

LOCATION: 1400 Liberty Ridge Drive, Chesterbrook, PA 19087

JOB DUTIES: Work with team of developers and testers to produce quality software for customers. Conduct a wide range of complex quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software satisfies end-user requirements. Execute testing on Boomi software such as AtomSpheres IPaaS to optimize application integration across platforms. Utilize Agile development methodologies to recreate, analyze, and troubleshoot issues while drawing upon advanced knowledge and utilization of complex products such as AtomSpheres iPaaS, Jira, Zephyr, HeidiSQL, and Jmeter to design, develop, and implement resolutions. Measure and analyze the performance of applications with Java-based load testing tools, such as Jmeter, under varying loads, and provide statistical feedback regarding the application to developers to ensure partners are notified of ongoing issues and problem resolution status. Utilize testing methodologies such as Automated Functional Testing, Robot Framework, and JBoomi in collaboration with cross-functional team members, including software developers, product managers, scrum master, documentation writers, and UX designers to identify and resolve complex procedural and technical issues throughout the Agile development process. Utilize programming languages such as Java, as well as a variety of tools and technologies used in the application development process at Boomi. 10% travel required. Telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and two years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, Software QA Engineer, Technical Advisor, or related occupation. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and five years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, Software QA Engineer, Technical Advisor, or related occupation. Requires experience with: SQL and relational database systems; web application testing; API and web services; REST and SOAP; scripting automated tests; maintaining manual and automated test cases and data sets; Linux and Unix environments; source control systems like Git; and CI/CD.
