Partner Marketing Manager, APJ

Job Overview

Boomi is seeking a partner marketing manager for the APJ region to manage the regional partner marketing program including ISVs, Alliance, global system integrator (GSI), and regional SIs. Reporting into the APJ Senior Marketing Manager, the role will be hands on working closely with regional field marketing, partner sales and global partner marketing teams. In this role, the successful candidate will have the responsibility for all “to” and “through” marketing activity, pan APJ, with a focus on ANZ partners. We are seeking a team player, someone who is prepared to go the extra mile to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the regional partner sales team, identify and prioritize partners and how marketing should engage with them across APJ

  • Design and execute programs to marketing enable the strategic APJ partners, including a regular communication cadence; product & sales training; events; collateral and campaigns.

  • Build joint marketing plans with strategic partners, allocate marketing funds and manage execution, ensuring objectives are measurable and ROI is achieved

  • Define and manage the APJ partner on-boarding process as it relates to marketing

  • Identify case studies showcasing partner and end-user successes

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a partner marketing role, the ideal candidate would be from an enterprise software/SaaS vendor background with experience of start-up/scale-up growth phase and comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems that include OEM, Resellers, Referral Partners, specifically as they partner with a SaaS company

  • Strong understanding of the direct sales process, especially within an organization that support a partner channel

  • Experience working with ISVs and SIs/GSIs in a partnership setting; ability to capably and professionally navigate the internal personnel matrix of these companies

  • An effective communicator with excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams, and managing complex projects under tight deadlines.

  • A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas, new perspectives and a wealth of enthusiasm coupled with a diligent work ethic and excellent time management skills. Being highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines is essential.

  • Experience with Marketing/Sales automation system is required (Marketo/SFDC preferred) with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • This is a pan APJ role and the candidate must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
