Hybrid - In-Office 3 Days, Remote 2 Days

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our talented engineering team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students enrolled in computer science, software engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in software development, project collaboration, and technology implementation within a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

• Software Development: Assist software engineers in designing, developing, testing, and debugging applications and features within the Boomi platform.
• Collaboration: Work in a collaborative team environment, participating in code reviews, team meetings, and project discussions to gain insights into Agile development processes.
• Product Testing: Help develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and process documentation.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices to support engineering initiatives and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues by analyzing logs, debugging code, and working with other team members.

The Experience You Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of software development principles and methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about software functionality and performance.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn from others.
• Eagerness to take on new challenges and apply theoretical knowledge in practical, real-world scenarios.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, AWS Q, etc.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate of pay will range from CAD $17.40 - CAD $23 / Hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
