Job Description

We're the UK's specialist blood cancer charity and our vision is clear: we’re here to beat blood cancer. We fund world-class research; provide information and support to patients and their loved ones; and raise awareness of blood cancer. Since 1960 we have invested more than £500 million in blood cancer research in the UK. Where we’ve invested, survival rates and quality of life have improved. We’ve been working to beat blood cancer for over 50 years, and we won’t stop until we do. Be a part of our story and help us change the world. As an E-commerce and Marketing Co-ordinator, you will lead on the development and management of our online shop, which will include the marketing, day to day running and continuous optimisation and improvement. You will be part responsible for delivering the e-commerce strategy for this important income stream. Whilst ownership of the online shop is the main focus of this role, our fundraising covers a number of other channels and products such as Direct Mail, Social Media, Lotteries, Face to Face and Single and Regular Gifts which you may also be supporting on as required. You will be a highly organised and self-motivated person with strong communication skills. You will have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and make decisions based on results, trends and insights. The majority of our roles can be performed hybrid which means for this role you may be required to attend the office 2-4 days per month. Travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense. Our culture and benefits package are award winning, and our staff survey tells us that we’re a great place to work. We are committed to actively promoting equality, diversity, and inclusivity. In line with our strategy we welcome approaches from individuals from underrepresented groups, including minority communities, and applicants with a disability, to better reflect the community we serve and help broaden our perspectives.
