About the role
Pay band depending on experience
UK - £55,000 - £65,000
EU - €55,000 - €62,000
All of our roles are fully remote as long as you are based in the UK, Spain or Malta
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our UX team. This role will be responsible for taking our sites to the next level through user-centered design. Using data and knowledge gained through experimentation and user testing, you’ll improve the user journey by working through the full design process to produce mobile-first, adaptive, accessible, designs.
Our high performing teams consist of Product Designers and Researchers who work closely with SEO experts, QAs, Software Developers, and Content Specialists to create award winning products. As an experienced Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with our team to develop and achieve the product’s vision.
There’s a great opportunity to pioneer new ways of working, embed leading practices across marketing disciplines and explore the best ways to lead a team to achieve our goals, with full support and backing from the exec team.
Key responsibilities
- You are responsible for contributing to the product and design strategy and accountable for the design of the product and you will own the experience of the product, pushing it to new levels through collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams. You will help ensure its successful implementation to demonstrate the impact on business results.
- Following an agile development process, your responsibilities include creating designs and implementing user-centered interfaces and interactions, from discovery through to beta and iterations and improvements beyond launch.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing
- Creating wireframes, rapid prototypes, and high-fidelity designs as well as mapping user flows and journeys
- Ensuring design consistency across all products and platforms
- Define, plan, and conduct user research (usability) to support the product team and inform design decisions.
- Continuously gathering and incorporating feedback to improve the user experience
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and technologies
- Lead and mentor more junior designers, helping them improve their professional design skills
About you
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role and proven track record of user-centered & results-focused Product Design
- Strong understanding of web and mobile design principles and responsive design
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with user research and testing methodologies
- Strong analytical mind and a desire for making user-driven decision
- Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices is a plus.
- An understanding of online betting/casino/slots or affiliate sites would be helpful, but not required
