Salary band depending on experience;

UK - £90,000-£105,000

EU - €72,000-€84,000

About the role

The Principal Delivery Lead is a critical role, working with a mix of disciplines at Tribe leadership level to help bring about change and enable others to make great things happen.

You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional team that is made up of everyone you need to deliver end to end web and mobile experiences which reach millions of users globally. You’ll also contribute to large initiatives which impact the business at an operational level, interacting with people at the start of their careers and those at C-Level.

As a Principal Delivery Lead, your responsibility is to enable and lead those around you through great facilitation, servant leadership and implementing the right behaviours and frameworks to ensure a high performance and capable team. You’ll lead activities across a Tribe featuring multiple squads and you’ll work closely with other leaders to deliver meaningful experiences to our users in a predictable, consistent and flexible way.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex cross-functional initiatives across the business, with an immediate focus on delivering new infrastructure and CMS for your Tribe’s products while maturing delivery processes and framework.
  • Accountable for high-level planning and alignment across one of our Tribes, using data-based forecasting and reporting, identifying and mitigating high-level risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Build trusting relationships and communicate fearlessly across all levels of the business to facilitate aligned delivery plans and roadmaps to meet stakeholder and user needs.
  • Hold the context and accountability within your Tribe, ensuring those around you are focused, tenacious, flexible, adaptable with solving complex challenges while maintaining or increasing pace.
  • Responsible for bringing the Tribe together, ensuring alignment from Squad level, Tribe leadership to the Senior Leadership Team while bringing confidence to the ‘how’ & ‘when’.
  • Accountable for delivery quality across the Tribe, including the pace, consistency, predictability, impact while ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage, coach, empower and grow a team of Delivery Leads to achieve their best.
  • Lead with empathy, encourage and champion Blexr values and behaviours, being seen to incorporate these into your and others work.

About you

  • Comfortable within scale-up environments or you have experienced environments undergoing transformation. You embrace ambiguity and intuitively bring others to tangible outcomes and impact at pace.
  • Experience managing, optimising P&L/budgets >€10M, including headcount planning and forecasting.
  • Extensive experience as a practitioner of agile, lean and others. You call on a wealth of experience using established frameworks and have the ability to adapt them to meet business and initiative needs. You can create or tailor new ways of working and continually innovate.
  • Extensive experience in leading and delivering complex x-functional initiatives, digital products from inception to delivery.
  • Extensive experience in challenging existing organisational processes, identifying opportunities, gaps, challenges and the ability to simplify complex processes or problems into outcomes and impact.
  • Exceptional with communication and storytelling is key, being able to identify and work through opportunities and challenges that come your way, bringing all levels of the business and different audiences with you.
  • Significant experience in building high performance teams, managing and cultivating an exceptional Delivery team.
  • Analytical and have problem-solving experience in ambiguous fast paced environments, and use delivery metrics to make informed decisions.
  • You proactively act quickly on mitigating blockers, challenges and know when to balance consensus and utilise different decision making skills to seek value and impact at pace.
  • You understand team psychology and have great mediation skills. You’re able to coach the business on conflict resolution and team dynamics.
