About the role

Salary band depending on experience;

UK - £68,000 - £78,000

EU - €54,000 - €62,000

As a Platform Product Manager you’re accountable for the strategy and roadmap for our Content Management system, associated tech stack and any related tooling that deliver business outcomes that will help Blexr become scalable and reach its goals. You’ll be working with Engineering and other disciplines such as SEO, UX/D , Commercial and the wider product team to improve and develop core platform features treating our internal users as your customer.

Key responsibilities

• A key expectation includes balancing the build of scalable technology, teams and ways of working that will enable Blexr to build its foundation and grow sustainably
• Fostering a culture of innovation and creativity, exploring new ways of meeting customer needs to drive impact and change
• Create alignment between customer needs, partner needs and tech to bring all those around you to build strategies and roadmaps that balance our goals in the best possible way
• Building out long term roadmaps that initially fix the foundations but build capability for innovation and growth
• Problem solving so as to create opportunity for functionality across multiple product lines
• Constant prioritisation against a strategic vision for our products so that you can make long and short-term trade-offs to improve product lines
• Excellent relationship management skills working with 3rd parties to ensure they deliver value

About you

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Product Manager. You have already launched complex products successfully.

• You thrive in a cross functional team, know when to lead and when to be led - getting the best out of those around you. You can story-tell, influence and negotiate to get others to commit to your vision

• You have experience in working with a CMS and editorial/content teams and understand the role of the platform to the wider products. You have a good understanding of technical SEO and the need to drive and optimise for SEO.

• You’ve a strong understanding of web usability and site design. A quantitative approach to traffic measurement, and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics

• Are driven by creating impact and keeping yourself and those around you honest through data and metrics to guide decisions

• You’re familiar and comfortable with key product methodologies; OKRs, Product Canvas, JTBD, Problem framing and Opportunity Solution trees and more

• You seek to understand users’ needs, motivations and behaviours in order to translate them into impactful results.

• Demonstrate ability to tackle complex problems and be able to identify and mitigate risks.

• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise time between multiple projects

• Experience working collaboratively in cross-disciplinary Product teams.

• Fluently communicate in English.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate your direction and best practices in a clear, compelling way to stakeholders across the business.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders

• Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humour.

• Self-starter that is able to work in ambiguity to deliver results and drive others to do the same
