It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

Job Description

As a Quality Technician – Night Shift, you will work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to help maintain high standards of product quality, compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

You will have an important presence within the manufacturing environment, carrying out inspections and testing, reviewing production documentation, investigating non-conformances, and supporting quality processes. You will also contribute to audits, validation activities, customer complaint investigations, CAPA, change control, and continuous improvement.

The working hours are 11pm-11am and the shift is accompanied by an impressive 37% shift premium on top of your basic salary!

Responsibilities

  • Carry out product inspections, dimensional checks, functional testing, sampling, and other quality activities in line with applicable SOPs and control plans.
  • Review Device History Records (DHRs) to confirm documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with GMP requirements.
  • Support validation and trial activities within manufacturing, ensuring products are appropriately controlled throughout the process.
  • Assist with internal and third-party audits, customer complaints, CAPA activities, change control, product returns, and other quality processes.
  • Manage relevant SAP and FlexNet activities, including product blocking and unblocking and investigation of quantity discrepancies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including 5S, shift start-up activities, process improvements, and initiatives that strengthen quality and manufacturing performance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working within a controlled manufacturing, production, quality, or similarly regulated environment.
  • Understanding of quality procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice, with the ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Confidence reviewing documentation, identifying quality issues, and communicating findings clearly to production colleagues.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to make considered decisions based on available information.
  • Good IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, FlexNet, or similar manufacturing systems would be beneficial.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and other teams.
