Our vision for Urology and Critical Care at BD

Urology and Critical Care (UCC) is an established and trusted partner in urinary healthcare, developing complete solutions which optimize the urine drainage process in the Acute Care Hospital setting.

About the role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and adoption of the PureWick portfolio across UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait.

The role will focus on market development, customer engagement, distributor management, clinical adoption, and opportunity identification. Working closely with distributors, healthcare professionals, marketing, professional education, and regional leadership, the incumbent will support the expansion of the PureWick category and accelerate business growth across the assigned markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities and expand customer adoption.

• Drive category creation and increase awareness of PureWick within target accounts.

• Support achievement of sales and market development objectives.

• Build strong relationships with key customers, clinicians, nursing leadership, and procurement stakeholders.

• Support clinical evaluations, product adoption, and customer education activities.

• Partner with KOLs and healthcare institutions to increase awareness and utilization.

• Identify opportunities within government, private, and homecare segments.

• Expand PureWick presence across existing and new accounts.

• Support launch initiatives and market access activities where applicable.

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, Market Access, and Supply Chain teams.

• Provide market insights and customer feedback to support business decisions.

• Support regional growth initiatives and best practice sharing.

• Ensure all activities comply with BD policies, quality standards, and Code of Conduct.

• Maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Nursing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.

• Experience in business development, sales, or market development roles.

• Experience working with distributors and healthcare stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of GCC healthcare markets is preferred.
