Job Title: Technical Coordinator
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. The shift pattern for this role includes both day and night shifts

What you’ll be doing:
- Undertaking a range of specialised clerical and administrative duties within a department to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Processing complex and varied documents and information received from a range of sources in line with department standards and within the relevant company systems
- Obtaining, formatting and analysing data from a number of sources to produce reports, schedules, summaries and letters for internal circulation or for customers and suppliers
- Identifying and undertaking investigation into discrepancies with products or services through checking and analysing data and checking back through information flows, within and across departments
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers and taking personal responsibility where required for certain specified accounts/contacts. Exchanging information in order to clarify a situation, resolve queries and problems
- Managing and storing technical documentation, ensuring filing systems are kept up-to-date for easy traceability and quick information retrieval
Your skills and experiences:
- Relevant Business Administration Qualification or equivalent by experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office in particular PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
- Data analysis, manipulation and interpretation experience
- Experience with diary management
- Knowledge of Health & Safety would be advantageous

The Test and Commissioning Team:
The team is engaged in some of our most complex projects to date for the wider Programme, supporting off-boat testing before delivering software packages to the boat. You will interact with various stakeholders within the submarine function, including Project Managers, Contractors, and SHE. There is great opportunity to progress within the role. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
