Job Description
Job Title: Support Integration Engineer NGESS (Next Generation ESS)
Location: Warton- on site
Salary: £47,683.00 + Depending on Skillset
What you’ll be doing:
· Requirements capture management & improvements regarding customers want and expectations into FESS (maintenance management system scope)
· Update/create technical system & build documentation.
· Support new product capability deployment sessions for all customers (travel abroad and within the UK will be required)
· A good understanding of LCM within a phased approach. Establish a demonstrator I.T./environment platform, to highlight the value of virtualised infrastructure, demonstrate real world operational capability
· Streamline / modernise software/hardware development & deployment processes, in line with future requirements (reduced hardware footprint). Support in developing ESS as a service strategy
Your skills and experience:
· An appreciation of data in the modern engineering lifecycle, encompassing the capture, storage, analysis, and use of data for gaining operational and business advantage
· An appreciation of IT Security and cybersecurity in the modern engineering lifecycle, encompassing system vulnerabilities, network and cloud security, physical security, and the principles of secure by design
· LAN/WAN network components, routing protocols and switch/router configuration. Cisco, network infrastructure installation, configuration, and integration
· Extensive knowledge and experience of Windows Server and installation of virtual environments i.e. (HCI/ESXI, VM), 2008R2, 2019, 2022, configuration, administration and management of Active Directory and Group Policies. In addition to physical server’s virtual servers hosting roles such as McAfee ePO, Microsoft WSUS, FTP, and other server functions as the environment demands
· Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
· A good understanding of ESS
· Be able to communicate future strategic approach i.e. (presentations, videos, demonstrators, outlining the future roadmap etc.)

The Support Integration Engineer NGESS team:
In this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of a new obsolescence free, hardware/software maintenance system for Typhoon with the potential to include other A/C platforms.
The position offers the opportunity to operate and collaborate in a support capacity as well as across a diverse range of technical teams
